The film is a teenage girl in the middle, Alex. Parents go through a delicate moment: I think it's time to make decisions regarding her daughter's sexual anatomy, in fact she is intersex and subjected to hormone treatment to prevent virilization of his body.
The narrative kicks off with a visit from a couple of friends, accompanied by sixteen year old son, Alvaro. The couple accepted the invitation of the mother of Alex especially for the scientific interest of Alvaro's father, plastic surgeon, about the situation of the girl. The number of visitors coincides with a turbulent moment in the life of Alex, taciturn and surly has just had a fight with his best friend.
between Alvaro and Alex was born a strong attraction, both live disturbances related to the body, typical of adolescence, research and the discovery of a sexual identity, both with regard to gender identity and sexual orientation. A search that also leads to confrontation with their families and the social reality, also made up of violent acts and discriminatory when that was kept secret began to be known.
Even Alex's parents are to have to deal with the choices of her daughter and the consequences it entails, from the reaction the girl suffered sexual assault by a group of peers.
